Douglas College offers nearly $100,000 in entry grants to new international students each year, recognizing students' previous academic performance.

There are currently two categories of scholarships available for the fall, winter, and summer semesters at Douglas College:

1. Douglas International Education Regional Entrance Award: $1000 - $2000

• Students are automatically evaluated when they apply to Douglas College
• Available for students from CIS countries, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and South Asia
• Successful candidates generally have an above average GPA (equivalent to B or higher) and strong English proficiency test scores (IELTS 7.0 or higher, or equivalent)

2. Dr. Guangwei Ouyang International Education Entrance Scholarship: $2500

• Requires a separate application form, to be submitted along with supporting documents
• Open to students from all countries
• Students are selected based on their previous academic performance and their involvement in the school, community, and/or personal development
