Does your child dream of working in Formula 1 or in Race Engineering? The Dallara Academy in Parma offers a unique opportunity for young people aged 15 to 18 to immerse themselves in the world of racing engineering. This intensive program connects theory and practice in a way that few educational experiences can provide.
What makes this program special
The Dallara Academy isn't just a school, it's one of the most respected companies in world motorsport. Giovani Dallara founded the company in 1972, and since then it has supplied cars for IndyCar, Formula 2 and several other categories.
Students have direct access to the engineers who design real race cars, which means your child won't just study about aerodynamics in books. He will see how professionals apply these concepts to cars that compete on the tracks.
Structured academic program
The course is divided into three fundamental pillars:
Engineering Foundations & Design
- Principles of applied aerodynamics
- Vehicle dynamics in practice
- Digital design with professional software
- Automotive Engineering Fundamentals
Technical Skills & Simulation
- Training on professional simulators
- Development of technical skills
- Performance data analysis
- Use of specialized CAD tools
Industry Experience & Inspiration
- Visits to the Ferrari Museum
- Experience at the Imola racetrack
- Direct contact with professionals in the area
- Networking with colleagues of various nationalities
Why this experience is different
Many parents wonder about alternatives to exchange for teenagers: Is High School always the best option?. Vocational programs like this offer a clear answer.
While a High School offers general education for high school, specialized programs allow young people to explore specific careers in depth during their faiths. Your child returns home with a clear vision about automotive engineering and motorsport.
Intensive and practical learning
The program works with small classes, limited to 15 participants. This ensures individual attention and maximizes learning. For two weeks, students undergo 30 hours of practical classes and laboratories.
The methodology is 60% practical and 40% theoretical. Young people build and test a Formula 1 car on a scale. They also use the same simulators that professional teams use to train pilots.
The environment of the Dallara Academy
Located in Parma, the Academy is located in modern facilities surrounded by automotive history. The Emilia-Romagna region is known as the Italian “Motor Valley”. Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Ducati have their bases in this area.
Students are staying at the Campus IT university residence, a safe and international environment. Single or shared rooms, all with private bathrooms. Supervision takes place 24 hours a day, ensuring total security.
Cultural experiences included
The program is not limited to engineering, young people visit historic landmarks in the region and participate in cultural activities. Visiting the Ferrari Museum and the Imola circuit are highlights of the schedule.
Parma offers rich cuisine and historic architecture, and your children return with technical knowledge and a new cultural perspective.
Who should consider this program
This program is ideal for young people who:
- Demonstrate interest in engineering or technology
- They like practical activities and technical challenges
- Want to explore careers before choosing a university
- They seek international experiences with an educational focus
Prior knowledge in engineering is not necessary, the Dallara team works with students of different levels, the important thing is curiosity and willingness to learn.
Development beyond technique
Programs such as Silicon Valley for Youth: Entrepreneurship Program in San Francisco show how focused experiences can impact a young person's trajectory.
At the Dallara Academy, your child develops:
- Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving
- Multicultural teamwork
- Technical communication in English
- Professional networking from an early age
- Confidence to pursue ambitious goals
How this program connects with the future
The automotive industry is undergoing rapid change. Electric cars, autonomous driving, and new materials create opportunities for engineers. The Dallara Academy program prepares young people for these trends. They learn about sustainability, energy efficiency, and technological innovation applied to motorsport.
Possibilities after the program
Many participants use this experience as a differential in university applications. Universities value candidates with practical experience and defined passion for an area.
Others discover new interests and turn to engineering abroad: which area is most promising?, exploring specializations such as computational aerodynamics or material development.
Preparing for the experience
The program takes place in July, with two classes available, students need intermediate English to follow the classes, the rest of the preparation is simple: curiosity and enthusiasm.
Similar to Career Program for Youth: Medicine in Toronto, this experience offers total immersion in the chosen area.
Security and support
Be Easy offers full support throughout the process, from preparing the documentation to following up during the program, our team is experienced in international educational programs and ensures that everything works perfectly!
Parents receive regular reports on their children's progress, communication is constant and transparent.
Why invest in this experience
Investing in the education of children goes beyond school grades, experiences like this show career possibilities and develop skills that no traditional classroom can teach.
The Dallara Academy offers access to a closed and competitive industry, your child will have contact with professionals who work at the highest levels of motor racing worldwide.
