Summer camp abroad | Programs for young people

A summer camp abroad is a residential program of 2 to 8 weeks in which the teenager trains a  sport, tests a career or studies a language, with supervision, far from a tourism-only itinerary.

Be Easy builds this program tailor-made: children from 9 years old on the sports and language tracks, and young people aged 9 to 24 on the vocational track. Every project starts with an interview with a senior consultant, who crosses age, learning profile and the family's goal before recommending destination and school.

What is the Be Easy vocational summer camp?

The program works as a practical trial of the profession. In 2 intensive weeks, the young person attends classes with faculty from renowned institutions abroad, laboratory or atelier activities and/or technical visits to real companies. Unlike a recreation summer camp, the focus is vocational discovery and a solid foundation for university application.

The program serves three profiles within the same age range:

  • 9 to 12 years: first international immersion, playful discovery of professional areas and full supervision.
  • 13 to 17 years: broad vocational discovery, profile and portfolio building for application to universities abroad.
  • 18 to 24 years: technical specialization, professional networking and connections for undergraduate or graduate studies abroad.

Which areas can your child explore?

The 16 areas are spread across 6 tracks. From health to gastronomy, through STEM, business, design and communication, each one opens a door to a career.

Sports

Athletic talent can be the passport to an international career before college. From discovering the sport to high-performance training, each sport has a specific program, partner and destination, such as: tennis, basketball, volleyball and dance. Be Easy also operates football routes, including a partnership with the official AC Milan academy, among other modalities of the sports exchange

Where does the program take place?

The network combines two types of immersion for different profiles:

  • Top global universities for broad vocational discovery: Cambridge, Oxford and University College London in the United Kingdom, University of Toronto in Canada, UC Berkeley and Columbia in the United States.
  • Dedicated partners for specialization: Sapienza Rome for Aerospace, Politecnico Milano for Automotive Design, Dallara Academy for Race Engineering, National Mathematics and Science College for STEM and Oxbridge preparation, TED Summer School for leadership.

The program opens doors in other ecosystems such as Boston, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, Singapore and Sydney. The choice between the top-universities axis and the specialized-partners axis comes out of the initial interview with the senior consultant, considering the young person's age, learning profile and the goal of university application or professional trajectory.

FAQ: frequently asked questions

What is the minimum age for a summer camp abroad?

The minimum age is 9 years on the sports and language tracks. On the vocational track, the program serves ages 9 to 24, with groups and supervision structured by age group. The choice depends more on the young person's maturity and the family's goal than on a fixed number.

Is advanced English required to participate?

No. Most programs accept basic to intermediate English, because immersion is part of the learning. Technical tracks, such as medicine and engineering, require intermediate level so the young person can follow the content, and placement is assessed before enrollment.

What is the difference between a summer camp and a vacation exchange?

A summer camp has a defined goal: training a sport, testing a career or studying with an academic focus. A vacation exchange is broader, with language and tourism without a specific track. In practice: if the family can say what they want the young person to come back knowing, the format is a summer camp.

What is the difference between a summer camp and high school abroad?

A summer camp lasts 2 to 8 weeks, during school breaks, without a long school enrollment. High school is a full semester or academic year at a local school. Many families use the summer camp as a trial: if the young person adapts well, high school becomes the natural next step.

How far in advance do I need to start planning?

Ideally between 6 and 9 months before the start. This timeframe allows for the initial interview with the senior consultant, the choice of track and destination, the preparation of the motivation letter and school transcript, the English placement test and the travel documentation.
