Sports management summer camp in Milan for teenagers in 2027

Sports management in Milan is a two-week programme where your child, aged 15 to 18, studies how a club works, with classes in English. From 4 to 17 July 2027, they work on the club, its fans and the team's strategy, then present their work to mentors.

‍

What is a sports management week in Milan like?

Your child spends the two weeks in class and working on a project, rather than on the pitch. The game is explored through its organisation: the team's week, the people involved and the decisions someone has to make before kick-off.

The two weeks take this shape:

  • At the start, the classroom explores how a club sustains itself beyond the scoreline. Who plans the week, who the club speaks to, and what a strategy needs to stand up to a question.
  • In the middle, your child chooses a focus and prepares what they would say if they were helping that club. It could be the fans, the schedule or the team's plan.
  • At the end, they present this work to a panel of mentors, in English, without a family member beside them finishing their sentences.

Classes, reading and speaking are all in English. There is no separate language lesson or exam score required to attend. If your child can already explain a simple idea in English, the week is manageable. If they get stuck on the first sentence, the language comes first.

Visits, classroom materials and a certificate of completion are also included. Students staying on the programme receive meals and accommodation during those days. The certificate records participation. It is not a university degree. What the family can recognise when their child returns is the presentation.

‍

Management, training and business: what is the family choosing?

Three similar searches lead to three different weeks.

The AC Milan football summer camp takes place on the pitch. Your child trains and wants to be seen as an athlete. The football programme in Italy follows that path. When playing abroad means more than one July, a sports study abroad programme shapes that journey.

The business summer camp in Milan follows an Italian company: brand, product and management beyond the changing room. Fashion, cars and industry belong there. The club is not the subject.

This summer camp sits between the two. Its subject is the club, the fans and the team's plan. Students who want to design or build a car can explore motorsport and design programmes in Milan. Motorsport-related management is available for those already at university. The ages and dates are different.

We listen to what your child already talks about at home and suggest the week that fits. Training and management in the same July clash. Both are real interests, and they call for different summers.

‍

Who are these two weeks right for?

The group is for ages 15 to 18. Younger students cannot join, even if they already play well at their local club. Beyond 18, the path is no longer this summer camp.

A teenager who fits enjoys sport and, the day after a match, is still thinking about how the club works. They do not need to be a first-team player. They need to follow the class and want to explain an idea.

Before booking a flight, the practical check comes down to three questions:

  • Do they already train or follow a club regularly, even without wanting to turn professional?
  • Can they explain a simple team decision in English?
  • Do 4 to 17 July 2027 fall within their school holidays?

If the aim is to be noticed by a coach, the football camp is the right week. If all three answers line up and the interest is in organisation, this July makes sense. A volleyball summer camp still takes place on the court, for those focused on playing.

‍

What does the family need to gather before moving forward?

There is no endless folder of documents. Just the essentials for an honest conversation.

  • Age, between 15 and 18
  • Dates: this group has just one set of dates
  • Practical English, rather than an exam certificate
  • The aim in one sentence: understanding the club, rather than training

With that, we can say whether July is about management, the pitch or a company. Without it, any page mixes up the three. We do not quote programme prices here. Finding the right fit comes in the conversation with the consultant, after reviewing the profile.

Frequently asked questions about sports management in Milan

Does my child need to play well?
No. Nobody assesses their position on the pitch. The programme is for those who want to understand the club. Those who want to train should look for the football summer camp.

When does the group attend?
From 4 to 17 July 2027, in Milan. There are no other dates this summer. It does not fit students who can only travel in August.

What do they bring home?
The presentation they delivered to the mentors and the certificate of completion. Accommodation also includes meals and a bed. The certificate is not a university degree.

Does this replace a year of playing abroad?
No. These are two weeks to explore the profession around a club. An athlete's path, with training throughout the year, is a different project within a sports study abroad programme.

Where does the family start?
With age, dates, practical English and the aim in one sentence. Then comes a conversation with the senior consultant through our curated career summer camps.

‍

You have seen what the management week is like. Is your child's July about the club, the pitch or a company?

The club, the pitch and a company change what your child does from the morning to the final presentation. The next step is to match age, English and that one sentence with our curated career summer camps.
